I am a 4th year graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at UMass Amherst.

I am mostly interested in phonology (theoretical and experimental) and prosody.

Out of many possible aspects of exploring the sounds of languages, I am mostly interested in prosody. Sofar I have worked on the word level stress systems of Russian, Hebrew and English. Later I have also developed an interest in the interface of prosody with syntax and right now I am exploring the sentence-scope prosody of English, and also about to enter the exciting world of Bantu sentence level tone phenomena.
