Practices this semester will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday EVERY week from 7am-9am at the recreation center!
We get to host our own tournament March 6th at Boyden Gymnasium. Yay!

Happy 2011! We’ve already started the year off great with practice and our first tournament of 2011 in Fairfield. We also have been rocking new, real uniforms finally! For this semester we have decided it’d be easiest for everyone’s schedules to have practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday every week, as opposed to alternating. The recreation center has been set for the volleyball equipment, so that is where we’ve been practicing and will continue to practice. We have a few tournaments coming up, including one in March that we’ll be able to host here at UMass.
Recent discussions among the team have centered around Nationals this coming Spring. The team had such a great time last year, so there is a lot of excitement towards this event. They will be in Houston, TX and run from April 7-9. We hope to be very prepared for Nationals this year and hopefully we’ll be able to do that after getting a good look at what it was like last year. There are amazingly talented teams playing there and we’d love to be able to keep up with the competition, which we are definitely capable of doing! Right now we are just finishing getting all the paperwork and accommodations settled. Remember ladies, if there’s anyone who signed up for Nationals who isn’t positive if they’d like to go, let Kim know immediately!
