We’re having our 2nd General Body meeting of the semester this Monday at 6pm in the Gunness Student Center. Come by to learn about SHPE’s upcoming events and activities. We’ll be giving a presentation on stress management, where members can learn valuable strategies to manage the stress of school and/or work. And of course, Latin food and drinks will be provided. Every year, SHPE chapters from around the country gather together for the SHPE national conference, a massive event where undergrads, grad students and professionals come together in search of a better future. Representatives from the nation’s top companies, universities, and government agencies were in attendance to give talks and conduct workshops, as well as to seek out future employees at a massive 3 day long career fair. Whether you’re looking for an internship, REU, or a full time position, or if you just want to find out more about being a professional engineer, the SHPE national conference is a wonderful opportunity.

!Hola everyone! As you may have noticed, our blog hasn’t been updated in quite sometime. After months of searching for help we were finally able to get the login credentials to update the blog again, and I’m proud to say the SHPE Blog is back online. Last Thursday The DPO along side SHPE, SWE, and NSBE, hosted a Broomball event at the Mullins Center 10pm. We had a great turn out, having two games of 7v7 and with a couple teams on the side waiting for a turn.
