The Office of Research is pleased to present the first speaker in its 2017 Fall Seminar Series, Dr. Parveen Ali, who will present a talk on “Domestic Violence and Experiences of Muslim Women.” Dr. Ali is a lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sheffield in England. She has been involved in gender-based violence and health care research for over 10 years and is especially interested in the exploration of intimate partner violence from the perspective of victims and perpetrators.
