These will be a “closed-book” exam: you may not use a calculator or computer (so you may not use Mathematica), and you may not consult any reference materials (books, notes, or other paper ).

Snow emergency rescheduling
In case of a campus snow emergency closing, the exam will be rescheduled as follows:
If UMass is closed until 10:00 a.m. or until 1:00 p.m.,
or is closed all day but open in the evening,
then
the exam will be 6:30–8:30 p.m. Tuesday 14 December;
else if UMass is closed all day and all evening,
then
the exam will be 6:30–8:30 p.m. Wednesday 14 December;
else
the exam will be held as originally scheduled.
