The Linguistics Minor consists of five linguistics courses.
- 201 How Language Works: Introduction to Linguistic Theory (core course)
- 401 Introduction to Syntax OR 402 Speech Sounds and Structure (core course)
- One Linguistics course at the 400-level or above.
- & 5. Two additional courses in the Linguistics Department at the 300-level or above.
Notes on the Minor:
One non-‘core’ course may be taken Pass/Fail. Courses from other departments may NOT be substituted.
