It seems like there are some strange things going on with SPIRE at the moment. Here’s the real information.
I will be teaching two courses in Spring, 2012, and both have spaces available:
Politics in Education (EDUC 781)–Mondays, 4-6:30 PM
If SPIRE gets straightened out, you should be able to register yourself for this using SPIRE. The Spring, 2011 syllabus is also posted there. Books will be at Amherst Books downtown, but don’t buy anything until you’ve checked with me because I’ll be making a few changes. I hope to have the syllabus done by the end of the fall semester.
Theories of Educational Equity (EDUC 622)–Wednesdays, 4-6:30 PM
Ed.D. students in Education Policy and Leadership (Ed Leadership, Higher Ed, International Ed) have priority to register for this course, but I think there will be space available for others. So that I can register the EPL students first, you can’t register for this one on-line. Please send me your name and your student ID number, and I’ll either get you registered or put you on the waiting list. All of the readings for this course will be on SPARK. If you want to get a head start on the course, choose an issue you think is related to educational equity and start reading about it.
If you have any other questions, please call or send an e-mail.
