TRACES by LES 7 DOIGTS DE LA MAIN

Tuesday, February 26, 7:30PM, Concert Hall
In TRACES, the human body is pushed to its limits as a group of friends leave their mark in a run-down warehouse. Traces is poetic and explosive, humorous and thoughtful. Combining traditional acrobatic forms with street elements such as skateboarding and basketball, mixed in with some theatre and contemporary dance, it surprises, awes and delights at every turn.

  1. This troupe integrates athleticism, dance, story lines and circus feats that really hold your attention and simply amaze. I found the parkour elements the most stunning.

  2. I really enjoyed this show. They combine circus, dance, sports and street acrobatics into nice vignettes. The parkour feats were most amazing!

  3. Absolutely breath taking. I couldn’t even applaud for fear of distracting them and because I was almost paralyzed!

  4. The show was just AMAZING! The synchronicity of the 7 doigts in every scene was just unbelievable. Kids around us were most entertained, they particularly loved Valerie’s pirouettes with the armchair…and me too!

  5. I really loved the dance and multi-media elements in this performance. The physicality was great, the energy was great, but what I most enjoyed was the mash-up of all of these. My kids really enjoyed it, too. And yes, I think the music helped make it appealing to a younger crowd.

  6. AMAZING, I love that I can take my daughter to wonderful shows, at great prices, while introducing her to the arts, this wad my 2nd show at the fine arts center but not my last, wish I would of none about it sooner…

  7. I enjoyed it, it his was the 2nd performance my daughter and I attended at the fine arts center. I love that I can introduce my daughter to the arts at a great price, this will not be my last performance I just wish I would of known about the shows at the fine arts center

  8. Ninety minutes of completely unadulterated, exuberant, anti-gravity joy. I only wish that more experiences in life left one with the feeling of having witnessed the human body and spirit fly and delight to such a degree.
