I’m a fourth-year PhD student in the Linguistics department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I’m interested in semantics and psycholinguistics, in particular the processing of presuppositions, negation, NPIs, and monotonicity. I’m currently working on a project that uses eye-tracking while reading to investigate how (and whether) the likelihood presupposition of “even” affects predictability of upcoming material in real time.
I received my B.A. in Linguistics/Psychology and English from the University of Connecticut in 2017.
