General job description of what an intern might do:

Learn about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), IEP’s and behavior support plans
Shadow and assist staff working with students
Develop positive relationships with students
Acquire an understanding of data collection to see how IEP objectives are analyzed
Obtain specialized training
Attend staff meetings

Your availability:

The May Center School is in session from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM Monday through Friday (including
summers)
? You must commit to intern at least 8 hours per week, but the timing of your hours is flexible
based on your availability throughout your semester
? There is a 40-hour orientation training from 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday for your first
