General job description of what an intern might do:

CAST is a non-profit research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals, especially those with disabilities, through the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). CAST’s internship program provides interns with real world, career-building experiences. Interns are empowered to pursue their own interests while developing their knowledge of UDL and building relationships with people actively working in the field of education. Interns work closely with researchers and developers on a variety of project related to learning and education. Past internships have included participating in prototype development, contributing to literature reviews, collecting research data in schools, creating multimedia products, and developing online materials for websites.

Your availability:

Internships require 150 hours of work over the course of a semester. Students who complete 150 hours are eligible for a $575 stipend.
