Our conference dinner, on the evening of May 17th, will be hosted at the Břevnov Monastery, a functioning Benedictine abbey in the Břevnov district of Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 993 AD by Saint Adalbert, the second Bishop of Prague, with the support of Duke Boleslav II of Bohemia, it is the oldest monastery in the Czech Republic. The monastery also has the oldest tradition of beer brewing in the Czech Republic.
We will have a tour of the abby, complete with the brewery, the existing Medieval portions of the monastery, the Baroque chapel and the extensive grounds before having dinner in the Abbot’s wine room.
Dinner will take place on the evening of May 17th. The cost of attendance will be $50 USD.
