I’m a senior nursing student with a variety of interests, both inside and out of nursing. After graduation, I am currently hoping to work in an intensive care setting and progress to working in a hospice or NICU setting.
My role for our research is to interview new mothers about their sleep practices and experiences during the postpartum period. Then, I record these interviews and take notes of the major themes and findings. These notes can be compared between interviews and other data to draw conclusions about the various impacts of maternal sleep.
