My wife, Margi Caplan, is Membership and Marketing Director at the Smith College Museum of Art.
My daughter, Nora Caplan-Bricker, is a free lance journalist, essayist, and critic. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post magazine, the New Yorker online, the Atlantic, Outside, the Point, and many more. Previously, she was a contributing writer for Slate, a staff correspondent for the National Journal Magazine, and a staff writer for The New Republic. She graduated from Yale University in 2012 and completed an MFA at Emerson College in 2018.
My son, Adam Caplan-Bricker, graduated from MIT in 2016, majoring in mathematics and music. He has recently been working on projects developing apps for music education, as well as pursuing research in pure mathematics on the side. Fall 2018, he is beginning an MA program in Labor Studies at UMass Amherst.
