About me

I’m a second year PhD student in the Linguistics department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I currently work in the Psychological and Brain Sciences department in Alexandra Jesse’s Language, Intersensory Perception, and Speech lab. I am also an RA for Joe Pater and Lisa Sanders on a project about phonological learning.

During academic year 2017-18, I was the Baggett Fellow at the University of Maryland at College Park. I have a BA in linguistics from Michigan State University (2017).

I’m interested in the relationship between speech perception and our phonological grammars.

I’m working with Adam Liter and Karthik Durvasula, along with lots of other collaborators at Maryland and in multiple other departments around the country, on a project that looks at bias in the field of linguistics. Learn more on the website.
