I am a PhD candidate in Linguistics and a master’s student in Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am interested in how language is represented and processed; in particular, I seek cases in which the processing of a linguistic representation is affected by the phonetic, phonological, or prosodic context in which that representation occurs. This theme unifies my work on segmental perception, lexical bias effects, cues to prosodic structure, and sonority sequencing and vowel alternations in Polish.

Starting Fall 2017, I will be an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of California Santa Cruz.
