Aphasia not only impacts the lives of stroke survivors and other persons with aphasia, but also the lives of the loved ones around them.  As a family member or friend of a person with aphasia, you may feel discouraged or frustrated at times by the challenges of communicating. However, there are many strategies that others can use to help people with aphasia communicate more easily.
