Amanda Rose is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she received a Bachelor of Arts and tripled majored in English, Journalism, and Dance. Originally from Chicago, Rose has been in the Massachusetts area for the past four years for college. Rose has extensive experience in writing and throughout her time at UMass Amherst, gained extensive knowledge and expertise in her field of study. During her internship at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, MA., Rose wrote assignment based articles for the Lifestyle section of the paper. Rose covered topics from pets to local businesses, to Thanksgiving features. During her time at UMass Amherst, Rose gained skills and strength in her writing through the Journalism department and gained extensive knowledge in literature through the English department. Back home in North Barrington, IL., Rose is a volunteer contributor to her neighborhood magazine, “Wynstone & Barrington Hills Life”. Rose wrote stories for the magazine over the past few years.
Currently, Rose resides in her hometown of North Barrington, IL., where she is actively seeking work in Journalism, English, Publishing, etc. Rose hopes to secure a job in the field of writing but is very open to all job positions. She also has experience with sales and would be eager for a position in this field as well. Rose is eager to bring her positive attitude and vibrant energy to her job position. She is easy to work with and is incredibly reliable.
