Battle of the Bands April 5, 2009

Join comedian & host Roy Wood Jr. at this annual competition in which 10 UMass student bands will compete for the grand prize of opening for Spring Concert.

The winner will also be entered in the National College Battle of the Bands contest in which they will compete with the winners from 15 other colleges for a record deal with Song Joust Records!

Admission is FREE and students who come will be the first to hear the Spring Concert line-up!

ABOUT SPRING CONCERT:
Spring Concert is an annual event hosted by the University Programming Council here at Umass Amherst. Thanks to all those who participated in our polling of artist to bring to campus, the University Programming Council chose the artist you wanted to see. 

SPRING CONCERT 2009 SCHEDULE:
The artist performing at Spring Concert will be announced at the “Battle of the Bands” event taking place on Wednesday April 8, 2009 in the Student Union Ballroom doors open at 7pm.

WHAT TO KNOW FOR SPRING CONCERT 2009:
Taking place at the Mullins Center May 3, 2009

Tickets Available April 13, 2009 at the Mullins Center box office

Umass Students get in for free
(ticket still needs to be obtained at box office before concert, swipe student ID at box office)
5 college students are $15
General Public $35
