Coplon Associates, a progressive, award winning landscape architecture firmlocated in
Bar Harbor, Maine, is seeking a creative, self-motivated landscape architect with up to 2 years of experience. The position will be available in May/June of 2007. Our firm is an established practice with extensive experience in projects ranging from large-scale land planning to detailed garden design. Our portfolio includes planning and detailed site design for public agencies (local, state and federal), educational and research institutions and commercial and residential clients. We have provided land planning assistance to the conservation community in various capacities for 20 years and have projects, both active and completed, throughout the eastern United States and
Canada.
We are looking for a talented, technically proficient project landscape architect to assume a variety of design responsibilities. Candidates must have strong graphic and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch-Up and the Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with native plants of the Northeast is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program and have the ability to work independently in a relaxed, studio-oriented office.
