Student Valley Productions is UMass Amherst’s own comedy club. The company is made up of three comedy teams:
- Mission: IMPROVable (think “Whose Line is it Anyway?” with loud music)
- Sketch-22 (like “Saturday Night Live” when your favorite cast was on)
- Improv With Attitude (like what’s played on the stages of Second City)
And we do it all for free. That’s right. Every one of our 2 shows a week, 80 shows a year is free. Start your night right. We promise, you’ll have a great time.
This April marks the 13th Annual Comedy Jam at UMass.
Its a two day festival of shows and workshops that celebrates comedy from around the country. Improv and sketch comedians from Boston, Chicago, New York, and Amherst congregate here for the best party of the year.
