The Senate is the legislative branch of the SGA, and is composed of 50 senators from the living areas on campus, the area governments, and the ALANA Caucus. The Senate is responsible for passing resolutions and enactments, determining a budget, and expressing the will of the undergraduate student body on campus. Senators are appointed to one of six committees: Administrative Affairs, Ways and Means, Finance, Public Policy and Relations, RSO advocacy, and University Policy (which is divided into two subcommittees Student Affairs and Education Accessibility).
