About me

I grew up in Dehradun, India. I moved to Delhi after completing school. I pursued my Bachelors degree, Masters degree and Master of Philosophy degree at the University of Delhi. As an undergraduate I studied English literature and French at Lady Shri Ram College before joining linguistics during the Masters program at the Department of Linguistics.

In addition to English and Hindi-Urdu, which are my first languages, I also have some knowledge of Multani and Punjabi, both of which raise their respective heads in conversations with grandparents and providing translations to clueless but curious bystanders.

Other than linguistics I enjoy dancing, writing, and being surrounded by non-freezing lush green mountains.
