J-STREET NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON D.C.
From March 24th-27th, in Washington D.C, J Street will be hosting a national conference. J Street is a “pro-Israel, pro-peace” organization that seeks a “two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” This conference will last 3 days, and will bring together “activists, lawyers, politicians, academics, analysts, journalists” for many different panels, with previous speakers including US Congresspeople, and National Security advisors.

Registration ranges from $36-$500, but there are three categories of sponsorship, which will finance students’ attendance at the conference. DC INTERNSHIPS THROUGH THE FUND FOR AMERICAN STUDIES
Internships in Washington D.C. are being offered through the Fund for American Studies, which is hosting an 8-week academic program that offers up to 9 credits through Georgetown University. Interns will live in on-campus buildings, and intern with federal agencies, policy groups, and other government-related offices. INTERNSHIP THROUGH THE FEMINIST MAJORITY FOUNDATION
The Feminist Majority Foundation offers internships in both Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. These internships are unpaid, but offer interns to work in a variety of places and positions, including:
- Ms. Magazine
- National Clinic Access Project
- Choices Campus Leadership Program
- National Center for Women and Policing
- National Clinic Access Project
To apply, you will need your resume, including GPA, a cover letter and a writing sample of no more than 5 pages. This will all need to be sent to the addresses listed on this page. Interns are accepted for the Summer, Fall, and Spring. The deadlines for the DC program are: Summer (March 31), Fall (July 15), Spring (October 15), with the LA program having a Summer program deadline of March 31st, with Fall and Spring operating on a rolling basis.
