Upon successful completion of this course the student should be able to:

- Find maxima, minima, and inflection points of polynomials, exponential functions, logarithmic functions and trigonometric functions.
- Estimate the area under a curve.
- Calculate the exact area under a curve.
- Use the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
