Who We Are
Logos is a student run magazine dedicated to giving Christians a voice through the written word. We are not tied to any denomination and only seek to represent Christ as He was and how He is. We emphasize a respect for those with different beliefs, and hope to offer everyone a clear view into the Christian heart.
We are currently accepting submissions for our Fall 2008 publication. We are looking for topical articles, poetry, short fiction, movie/book reviews, interviews and any form of faith inspired art.
Mission Statement
Logos is a magazine of Christian perspectives, which aims to address our common need for faith, hope and love. Through various forms of creative expression, we will serve as an outlet for the UMass Christian community atlarge. This unified voice, speaking on behalf of Jesus Christ and His Word, will enrich the scholarly campus-wide dialog by enhancing the understanding of
this faith and by revealing its relevance within our culture. We believe that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”
(John 1:1). This Word, or Logos is our hope, and the sole reason this magazine exists.
