Welcome

I am currently a physics postdoc at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

My research interests span from particle physics to gravity. I have been focusing mostly on the interrelation between these two fields; on the one hand, we can learn about gravity by using the tools of particle physics, e.g., by evidencing theoretical constraints in models that modify gravity at large, Hubble-scale distances.
On the other hand, the study of the cosmological evolution of the Universe need an understanding of both particle physics and General Relativity; e.g., motivated by recent experimental observation, I studied a simple model that generates a preferred direction in the Cosmic Microwave Background.
I am also interested in the study of strongly coupled models, in particular by employing the string theory-inspired gauge/gravity duality, and in models of inflation and cosmology.

On the research page, you can find a list of my publications, with abstracts and arXiv links.
