About Us

Every day hundreds of men of color nurture and care for children in Springfield, MA and go largely unrecognized for this contribution to our community.

The Key Players Project aims to honor these everyday heroes.

The objective of the Key Players Project is to honor men of color who are quietly contributing to children’s lives. The program also strives to increase awareness of the many contributions that these men, along with many other men of color, are making in the Springfield community. Each December, the Key Players Project nominates and recognizes 10 Springfield-area men who have been making a difference in their communities.
