The Muscle Physiology Lab is a group of researchers who are broadly interested in understanding how human skeletal muscle changes are affected by age and habitual physical activity.  We use a combination of non-invasive techniques to measure how intramuscular metabolism and contractile function contribute to the development of muscle fatigue in a variety of populations.  The lab is run by Distinguished Professor Jane Kent in the Department of Kinesiology, and our primary source of funding comes from the National Institutes of Health
