With midterm past, and the end of the semester in sight, we want to remind you that our friendly and capable consultants in the Instructional Media Lab are available to assist you with importing exam scores, working with your Moodle Gradebook, and other seasonal Moodle activities.

The Instructional Media Lab has moved

The Instructional Media Lab, your home base for Moodle support, has moved from Lederle Lowrise to the Du Bois Library. For most of you, this will make our offices easier to get to. Please stop by for a cup of coffee. We’d be happy to discuss your questions about using technology in your teaching.

Moodle Course Requests for Winter/Spring 2015 open November 12:

  • Pre-registration and Moodle course request for Winter term and Spring 2015 courses open next Thursday, Nov. 12.
  • For a reminder on how to request a Moodle Course in SPIRE, see: Request Your Moodle Course.
  • For help importing a previous Moodle course into your new empty course, see:
    Reuse a Moodle Course.


Moodle Updates:

Minor fixes/improvements to:

  • Questionnaire: Restored setting to allow a Questionnaire to Never be released to students.
  • Assignment: On the Assignment submission page, filtering (by submitted, needs grading, etc.) no longer locks view.
  • Quickmail: Filtering by group now follows course group settings (separate or visible).
  • McGraw Hill LTI: fixed Grade sync.
