Join the GWN on Friday, October 26th for our annual hike at the Notch! We will be departing at 4pm for a leisurely, late afternoon hike of approximately one hour. Volunteer at Not Bread Alone — Saturday, October 6th, 9:30-1:30

Want to give back to the community? Join the GWN at Not Bread Alone on Saturday, October 6th from 9:30am-1:30pm, where we’ll be preparing, serving, and cleaning up after the non-profit soup kitchen’s afternoon meal.

Not Bread Alone is a community lunch program in Amherst that offers free  meals and groceries to anyone in need.

Join LGBTQ-identified and allied grad students for a meet and greet on                             Tuesday, October 9th from 7pm-9pm in Campus Center 165-169. Food will               be provided, and fun will be had.

Participate in Mindfulness and Mood: Empowerment Skills for Women

Learn skills that will help you to reduce anxiety, improve mood and relations, relax your body, quiet yuor mind and gain greater emotional balance. This free 5 session workshop series will focus on the unique stresses facing women & will offer skills for women to manage anxiety, mood and emotions and to empower women in their everyday lives. This group is cosponsored by the Center for Women and Community (formerly EWC) and the Graduate Women’s Network (GWN).

Tuesdays, 6:30-8pm, Fall Semester
