  1. We were disappointed in his performance and only stayed for the first half. We found it uninspiring. Also many of the pieces were “academic”. The Bach piece could have been lovely, but I left thinking it was better played on the lute. We lacked a feeling of live connection to the music.

  2. I found his performance to be one excellent, engrossing and one of the best FAC concerts I have seen. He really connected with the audience. Bring him back!

  3. Excellent, excellent in every way! Sincerely hope that he will return and soon!

  4. Excellent but also somewhat rote. He was in complete command of his guitar but it was almost as if he had played same pieces too many times. Almost too perfect. Would go again if he returned.
Wish it had been at the Carle.

  5. To the folks who left after the first half – the second half showed a genuine embrace of music that went beyond the academic. We enjoyed it very much. He also sounded great in the space.
