Teaching Activities this Fall

This fall I’m teaching the introductory Qualitative Methods course for the new graduate cohort. I’m also participating in the Lilly Teaching Seminar, run by the UMass Center for Teaching. I’m learning a lot about the research on best practices in college teaching, about students at UMass, and lots of ideas for future classes. For my Lilly Project, I’m developing a new large lecture undergraduate course on Visual Communication, which I will teach in the spring.
