Engineers Without Borders is a student-run organization dedicated to helping local and international communities create sustainable, community-driven solutions in order to improve their quality of life. The chapter at the University of Massachusetts Amherst operates programs in Ghana and Kenya to help locals develop clean, reliable, and convenient water infrastructure projects. In addition, a local energy program is working in collaboration with the campus to develop solar projects.
EWB-UMass Amherst has launched our first MinuteFund month-long fundraiser! We are currently planning to drill two boreholes (one in Kenya and one in Ghana), which will provide safe, clean water for a community in each country. As these boreholes and our expenses to travel will be costly, we need your help. Please click the link below to donate!
