New UMass EMS Blog!
Tired of searching your e-mails for that last announcement about our next meeting? Want to know what your director’s are thinking without having your e-mail box FLOODED with additional mailers? Want to gripe and suggest and get RESPONSES? Well folks… here it is: our very own Director’s Blog. Updates on group activities (Relay for Life, Socials, Fundraisers, etc.), Directors’ proposals, brainstorms, and any general topics involving UMass EMS will be featured right here.
Soon to be linked to the website, the blog will offer easy accesibility for UMass EMS members and the general public. The blog format will also provide an easier solution for Directors to publish their news without a) sending out flocks of general mailers and b) having to deal with finding/using a computer with Dreamweaver. Hopefully, the comments component of the blog will work as a general forum for people’s responses to what is posted, enabling everyone to share their ideas in a very user-friendly format.
NOTE: Critical, Important, Required information and announcements will still be diseminated through the General Mailing list… in fact, it will still be used as normal for open-shifts, meeting updates, etc. This blog is here simply to provide an added piece of communication for our group.
