LexisNexis Congressional provides a comprehensive record of all Senate and House committee hearings, prints,  documents and reports since 1970. You can search for legislative histories, bills and laws, and look up committee memberships in both chambers. LexisNexis Congressional also includes the daily Congressional record and rules.

New Business Resource – Plunkett Research Online

Plunkett Research Online provides industry sector analysis and research, as well as information on industry trends, industry statistics, top companies in the industry, export companies and trade and export associations. You can run and save a search, build a prospect list or run a report comparing companies.

Environmental Resource Handbook

The Libraries have recently added Environment Resource Handbook to our online reference collection. This directory provides contact information, website, organization type, executives and description for over 7,000 associations, organizations & government agencies, awards & honors, conferences & trade shows, goundations & charities, national parks & , wildlife refuges, research centers & educational programs, legal resources, etc. You can easily browse, search and download data from the directory.

New Arts Database Trials

The Libraries have two new trials through April 10th, 2010:

  • Arts & Humanities Full Text – covers contemporary study in the arts and humanities, with the inclusion of selected titles from related fields such as ethnic and area studies, politics, economics and women’s studies.
  • DAAI: Design and Applied Arts Index – includes abstracts and bibliographic records for articles, news items, and reviews published in design and applied arts periodicals from 1973 onwards.
