Hampshire College ASL Collective is proud to present: “Deaf Gain” a presentation, Q&A, and book signing with Dr. Joseph Murray.

Dr. Joseph Murray is Assistant Professor of ASL and Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University. A trained historian, Dr. Murray works within the fields of History and Deaf Studies. Dr. Murray has given numerous lectures on Deaf Studies, the International Deaf Community, and human rights issues in numerous countries on all six continents, as well as at the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and other international bodies. Dr. Murray has been involved with the World Federation of the Deaf for two decades and is currently WFD Board Member and Chair of the WFD’s Human Rights Work Group. He will be presenting his latest book “Deaf Gain.” For more information on the book, please see the flyer below.
