Meet the Team!
The 2009-2010 UMass Dance Team
Who We Are
We are a RSO (Registered Student Organization), a club team at UMass, but do not let the word “club” mislead you. Although we are not apart of athletics we practice 4 nights a week and work extremely hard to grow as a team for local performances, as well as the NDA National Competition. Being that we do not have a coach, our captains organize and coordinate everything we do. The team performs in jazz, hip-hop, and pom and can be seen primarily at home football games, home basketball games, the NDA Nationals Competition, and other events around campus. We are simply a group of 17 enthusiatic girls who love to dance and perform!
Basic Dance Skills
♦ Triple pirouette, fouettes, turns in second, leaps, straddle jumps, toe touches, switch leaps, etc.
