Want to be apart of a nationally ranked dance team? Here’s your chance!
When: Sunday May 1st, 2011 @ 2pm (we ask that you arrive around 1:30 to allow time to register and warm up).
**This is a one-day audition, so we will be making a cut half-way through.
Where: Curry Hicks Cage (Click here for a detailed map of campus)
During auditions you will have to show us a triple pirouette, fouettes, turns in second, side leap, toe touch, and a switch leap. We would also love to see any other advance skills that you may have such as a leg extension, a switch strattle, quarter fouettes, any gymnastic skills, etc. Keep in mind, the more advanced skills we see, the better. We will also be teaching you a short routine, therefore you do not need to come prepared with a solo.
What to wear: Please wear appropriate dance attire that allows the judges to see the body move. Also come performance ready, hair done with make-up on. Look your best!
Please bring with you the following:
-$10 non-refundable audition fee.
– If you are younger than 18, you will need to have your parent/guardian with you to sign forms.
– We encourage that you bring a dance resume (with or without a headshot), although it is not required.
Being a member of this team requires hard work and commitment but it all pays off when we perform at UMass games and even more so when we travel to Daytona, Florida for NDA Nationals in Spring!
