The APS Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) are annual, three-day regional conferences for undergraduate physics majors. The goal of CUWiP is to help undergraduate women continue in physics by providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to other women in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas.

The CUWiP at UMass Amherst program will include research talks by faculty, a variety of interactive workshops on physics, communication skills and career planning, as well as panel discussions about graduate school, careers in physics, diversity and inclusivity and work-life balance.

In addition to presentations and discussions about women in physics, attendees can participate in laboratory tours, a virtual reality tour of ATLAS at the LHC, a graduate school and career/networking fair, student poster sessions, and several meals during which presenters and students interact with each other.
