- Create (1) simple 8×11 sign: draw from the second prompt for your class 5 response notes on the youth (economic) story: “In a separate paragraph, include your observations, thoughts, and feelings on this situation; you might reference personal stories and experiences.”
- Review your class 5 response notes.
- Select a sentence/sequence to feature; edit/ rewrite/amplify for the signage.
- Ideas may also draw upon full class and dialogue group discussions.
- Hand-made: use basic writing tools, e.g. markers, crayons, etc.
- Might include simple figurative elements but JUST PLAIN LETTERS IS FINE.
- Design logic: SIMPLE and CLEAR.
- Letters LARGE ENOUGH to be read without having to get too close.
- Bring to class to share.
- Doing a scan or using a smart phone, create a quality digital copy and post to econ story signage album on class Facebook group.
