Sort of like a DEC VT100 is cleaner than a NEC Multisync?
As a graphic design tool, tagcrowd is primitive. It’s more of a simple statistical visualization. I like the color schemes and the three dimensional layout and imagery of Wordle.

tagcrowd.com looks cleaner and does not require Java.
