BIOCHEM 275 filmed to highlight new South College building

Our class made it into the ribbon cutting video for the new South College building! We are teaching BIOCHEM-725, Molecular Biology, in the new flex room (West 245). It’s a great space both for lecture and group work. We are excited to have the opportunity to be one of the first classes to use it.



I was excited to participate in a 4 week symposium on technology in the classroom with Innovate@UMass. We learned about the seemingly endless tools that we have available to us at UMass. I selected three tools to bring into my molecular biology course and I can’t wait to see them in action in the Fall…

Coming to UMass

January 3rd 2016 — I have accepted a position as a lecturer and the honors program director for the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
