Schneider’s Story of Katz v US
3 09 2011The defendant’s lawyer that petitioned and argued Katz vs. US to the Supreme Court (audio here) was Harvey A. Schneider. He had been admitted to the bar just four years earlier. You can read his recollection of the events in this article “Katz v. United States: The Untold Story” (McGeorge Law Review Vol 40 Number 1, published in 2009). He’s now a retired California Superior Court Judge in private practice.
