Sociology Club presents FIGHT CLUB!

ATTENTION SOCIOLOGY MAJORS!!

Our newly established Sociology Club will be showing FIGHT CLUB and having a discussion TODAY Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:30pm in the Campus Center Room 803.

Join us, meet other students and get involved!!

Also, we will be serving pizza!

Come celebrate (or console yourself because of) Valentine’s Day with the Sociology Peer Advisors…by decorating heart-shaped cookies!

We’ve got plenty of cookies and supplies (icing, frosting & sprinkles!) so you can decorate yourself a tasty treat.

And if you want some advising while you’re here, we can do that too! We’re in Thompson 722, and we will be here until 4 pm today.

We are trying to put together a sociology club in order to provide students with the opportunity to meet faculty, discuss sociological issues and meet fellow students in the major.  We wanted to gauge interest and see if you all had any thoughts about activities you would like to participate in.

Drop Betas Not Bombs is our semester-annual concert. It has the feel of an open-microphone event, but will have a set schedule. The event typcially features singers, dancers, guitarists, and poets. Every few acts, a STAND member or two will give a very small information session (about three minutes) about one of the conflicts we focus on.
A $3 suggested donation, but free to the public
